- 1 cup Butter, unsaltedSoftened
- 1 cup Powdered Sugar - Salus Sugar MixSalus “Sugar” Mix
- 2 tbsp Heavy Whipping Cream
- 4 tsp Vanilla extractThis is really a to taste. In our family we like a strong vanilla flavor. I wouldn’t recommend less than 2 tsp though
- Pinch Celtic Sea Salt
Homemade Butter Cream Frosting is easy and oh so delicious! I will never buy the store made stuff again.
Add the softened butter to stand mixer with paddle attachment. Beat on medium speed for 3 minutes. ( You will see the butter become a lighter color)
Add in the powdered Salus “sugar” and mix on low speed for one minute.
Increase to a medium speed and continue mixing for 2 minutes
Add in heavy cream, vanilla extract and pinch of salt. Continue Mixing at a medium speed until frosting is all combined.
Use immediately or store in fridge.
